Carson Fu is a freshman at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Public Health. They are currently an advising fellow at Matriculate and an undergraduate researcher at the Kwon Lab, working on novel gene editing therapies for cardiovascular disease. As the founder and president of the HOSA-Future Health Professionals Zionsville Chapter, Carson spearheaded numerous initiatives, including a project supporting homeless veterans and raising funds for chapter activities. They have also participated in various research and leadership programs, including the National Youth Science Academy and SSP International.
