Daniel Asika is a sophomore at Princeton University, studying Molecular Biology and Classics. They have held various research assistant positions, including at the National Institutes of Health, where they modified peptide nucleic acids for HIV detection, and at Oakland University, where they optimized the synthesis of pillararenes. In addition to their research, Daniel serves as an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, providing college counseling to low-income high school students, and tutors at Princeton’s McGraw Center. As a passionate advocate, they founded the Nigerian Healthcare Mission and held leadership roles in student organizations, including the Black Pre-Med Society and the Black Business Association.
