Karla Morales is a sophomore at UCLA, majoring in Neuroscience with a goal of minoring in Brain and Behavioral Health. As a first-generation college student, Karla is dedicated to helping high school students achieve their dreams of attending four-year institutions. Currently, Karla serves as a 6-Year Scholar with Thrive Scholars and a Horatio Alger State Scholar, both roles aimed at supporting underrepresented students in their educational journeys. Additionally, Karla is an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, where they guide high school juniors and seniors through the college application process. Passionate about neurological treatments, Karla aspires to pursue research aimed at discovering a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
