Beatriz R. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Beatriz currently holds the position of Vice President of Storage & Green Hydrogen at Matrix Renewables, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Storage & Hydrogen Senior Manager at the same company. Beatriz also worked as the Innovation & Engineering Manager at Matrix Renewables from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining Matrix Renewables, Beatriz R. served as a Board Member at Hyren starting in 2023. Beatriz gained extensive expertise in the field of energy as an Independent Energy Expert at the European Commission from 2012 onwards.

Beatriz R. has also held several roles at different companies in the renewable energy sector. At Capital Energy from 2020 to 2021, they worked as the New Energy Business Director, specifically focusing on Energy Storage & Green Hydrogen. Prior to that, at Enagás from 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Hydrogen Coordinator and led the Innovation and New Energies Management team.

Earlier in their career, Beatriz R. worked as the Chief Technology Officer at GRANSOLAR GROUP (GRS) from 2016 to 2018. Beatriz also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Jofemar Corp., where they managed Electrochemical & Energy Storage projects and headed the Electrochemical Unit.

Their work experience includes leading roles at Centro Nacional del Hidrógeno CNH2 as the Head of Project Management Unit and Prototype Unit from 2008 to 2012. Beatriz also worked as a Chemical Process Engineer at Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica from 2007 to 2008 and as a Researcher at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2005 to 2007.

Beatriz R. completed a professional development program at Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2011-2012. In 2015-2016, they earned a Master of Industrial Automation from SEAS. Beatriz pursued a Phd in Chemical Engineering at Complutense University of Madrid from 2004-2009, and prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 1999-2004. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Data Science and Developing IoT Solutions with Azure IoT from Microsoft. Beatriz also completed courses in Lean, Agile & Scrum Methodologies from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and IoT Solutions with Azure IoT from Microsoft in the same year.
