James Bunta has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the energy and renewable energy sectors. James is currently serving as the Head of Legal at Matrix Renewables. Previously, they held positions such as General Counsel, Secretary, and Vice President at OCI, where they were responsible for handling legal matters related to the company's various businesses. Prior to that, James worked as a Senior Counsel at Trina Solar. James also served as the Lead Counsel for Wood's energy and process operations in the US after Wood acquired Amec Foster Wheeler. Before joining Wood, James held senior roles at Amec Foster Wheeler, including Senior Vice President of Business Legal Affairs, Vice President Legal, and Senior Commercial Manager.

James Bunta attended Marquette University from 1980 to 1984 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. James then went on to study Law at Washington University in St. Louis from 1985 to 1988, obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
