Nicolas Navas

Nicolas Navas has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Nicolas currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Matrix Renewables, a Madrid-based renewable energy platform. Prior to their current role, they worked at Jenner Renewables S.L. as the Director of Project Finance. Nicolas also held positions at Actis as an Investment Principal, ING Bank as a Vice President in Structured Finance, Global Capital Finance as a Vice President, and ING Barings as a Risk Manager. Nicolas has a strong background in project financing and has been involved in various renewable energy projects throughout their career.

Nicolas Navas has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, which they obtained between 1991 and 1996. Nicolas then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance, General at the same university from 1997 to 1999. Later on, they attended Columbia University from 2001 to 2002 and obtained a Master of International Affairs (MIA) degree, specializing in Business Finance Investment Banking.
