Rob Edwards

Rob Edwards, ASA, MAAA, is a seasoned consulting actuary currently working at MATRIX Resources since October 2020, where the focus is on developing alternative provider payment models for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Senior Director of Provider Network Analytics at Blue Shield of California from May 2018 to March 2020, overseeing a team of 35 professionals in network development and value-based payment models. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Provider Management Analytics and Staff VP & Actuary at Anthem, Inc., where Rob led actuarial teams and directed enterprise analyses to manage unit cost trends across various business segments. Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba.
