Daniela Aliy

Daniela Aliy is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as an Environmental Specialist at Matrix Service Company since March 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Sustainable Operations Consultant and Stormwater State Lead Deputy at ERM, where responsibilities included managing stormwater inspections for over twenty warehouses in North Carolina. Daniela also held the position of Project Coordinator at Ecoplexus Inc., focusing on improving operational efficiencies and coordinating maintenance tasks. Prior roles featured Analyst positions at Strata Clean Energy, where efforts contributed to revenue increases and project compliance with regulatory standards. Earlier experiences include a Sustainability Intern role at Townsend Bertram & Company, several administrative roles, and involvement in environmental justice research at the UNC Institute for the Environment. Daniela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Associate of Science from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
