Delanie Player

Delanie Player is an experienced wildlife biologist with a comprehensive background in environmental assessments and wildlife monitoring. As the Power Sector Lead and Principal Wildlife Biologist at Matrix Solutions Inc. since February 2008, Delanie has contributed to multiple multi-disciplinary projects, including Environmental Site Assessments for pipeline initiatives and renewable energy applications, along with developing wildlife and caribou mitigation and monitoring programs. Prior to this role, Delanie served as a Wildlife Biologist at WorleyParsons and a Research Technician at the University of Alberta, where focus was placed on ecological studies, particularly related to bird populations. Delanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Land Reclamation from the University of Alberta, obtained in 2001.
