Patrick Nelson

Patrick Nelson is the co-founder and partner of MatrixIntelligence, a technology strategy consulting firm. Prior to founding MatrixIntelligence, they were the founder and president of Ikonic Technologies Group. Patrick has also served as the vice president and chief architect of both Convergys IMG and Alltel Wireless.

Patrick has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Patrick has been responsible for the product architecture of SmartSuite ( CRM, Order Management & Fulfillment, Rating, Billing, Revenue Assurance) for Convergys IMG. Patrick has also directed innovation labs exploring proof-of-technologies, proof-of-concepts, & prototypes for middleware business service orchestration across CRM, OM, Billing, & customer self service.

At Alltel Wireless, Patrick served as the vice president and chief architect - enterprise architecture. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing the overall enterprise architecture strategy for Alltel. Patrick also led a team of architects in the development of enterprise solutions that supported Alltel's business goals.

Patrick Nelson completed a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. Patrick then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
