Huaijin (Patrick) Wang

Huaijin (Patrick) Wang has worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at Matroid, Inc. since 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego's mlPC lab, where they developed transformer-based single-view 3D point cloud reconstruction and transformer-based optical flow estimation. In 2019, they worked as a Research Intern at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as an Engineer Intern at CTTC.

Huaijin (Patrick) Wang has an educational background that includes two Bachelor of Engineering degrees and one Master of Science degree. From 2015 to 2019, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering with Management from both Queen Mary University of London and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Science degree in Machine Learning and Data Science at UC San Diego, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
