Ellen Yao

Ellen Yao has extensive experience in finance and financial planning, highlighted by a tenure as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Matson, Inc. from December 2015 to August 2022. In this role, Ellen led the implementation of a cloud-based planning system while managing corporate FPA tasks and cross-functional partnerships. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at Walmart eCommerce, where Ellen focused on strategic alignment and financial forecasting for the Asia eCommerce markets, and as Finance Manager at The Clorox Company, overseeing corporate financial planning and analytics. Additional roles at Gap, Inc. and Central Garden & Pet Company provided foundational experience in finance management and accounting. Ellen holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California.
