Michael Goto

Michael Goto is an experienced professional in operations and process management, currently serving as the Director of Network Process and General Manager at Matson, Inc. since February 2020. Prior to this role, Goto held various positions at Tideworks Technology from September 2014 to February 2020, including Senior Operations Consultant and Senior Business Analyst. At APL, from 2002 to August 2014, Goto was responsible for stevedoring operations and vessel planning at the Global Gateway North container terminal, and also managed terminal technology and systems improvement initiatives. Earlier experience includes being an Operations Superintendent at APL and a College Intern at Avanade. Goto holds a BA in International Business, Computer Science, and Japanese Language from Linfield University, a Project Management certification from the University of Washington, and a certificate in Supply Chain Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
