Dillon Markey is a seasoned animation professional with extensive experience in stop-motion animation and creative production. As the Director and Co-Owner of Cool Spaceman Studio since August 2022, Dillon manages all aspects of the company and oversees production for various brands across social media and television. Currently serving as the Lead Stop Motion Animator at Mattel, Dillon has worked on prominent brands like Barbie and Monster High. Dillon also founded Ride DNA, focusing on innovative product development and intellectual property management. With a rich background that includes roles at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and PES Films, along with teaching positions at Laguna College of Art and Design and Hampshire College, Dillon holds an M.F.A. in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a B.A. in Animation from Hampshire College.
