Michael Hick

Michael Hick is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the toy industry, currently serving as Vice President – UK & Ireland, Benelux, & Nordics at Mattel, Inc. since 2008. Under Michael's leadership, significant advancements in commercial performance were achieved, including a successful UK Turnaround Plan that elevated Mattel to the second-largest manufacturer in the industry. Michael demonstrated strategic foresight by establishing a vision centered on digital demand creation and profit growth, while cultivating a strong organizational culture emphasizing innovation and talent retention. Prior to Mattel, Michael held various sales and management roles at companies such as Mega Brands and LEGO Group, and earned a BA in Business Studies from the University of the West of England.
