Shaun Applegate

Shaun Applegate is an experienced analytics professional with a diverse background in quality, product safety, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Director of Analytics at Mattel, Inc. since October 2021, Shaun previously held the position of Senior Manager, Product Quality Analytics. Prior to Mattel, Shaun worked at Highmark Health as Manager of Analytical Advancement and at HealthNow New York Inc. in the same capacity. Shaun also contributed as an Analytics Consultant at HealthNow, supporting over 100 analysts in creating a productive analytical environment. Earlier experience includes roles at USA TODAY as Business Operations and Technical Support Manager and Systems Analyst, where Shaun developed and maintained reporting platforms to drive sales analysis and strategic planning. Shaun holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus, complemented by education from Cornell University and Niagara University.
