Ryan Betts

Ryan Betts is a seasoned developer with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Currently positioned as a Developer at Matterbeam since October 2024, Ryan previously served as Head of Engineering at Deno and held the role of Engineering Director at Datadog. Prior to these positions, Ryan was the VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering - Platform at InfluxData. The career also includes foundational work as the CTO and a founding developer at VoltDB, as well as a Software Engineer at IBM and Lucent Technologies. Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
