Gabriel Jackson

Gabriel Jackson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud platform architecture and software design. Currently serving as the Cloud Platform Engineering Lead and Senior Software Design Engineer at Mattermost since April 2019, Gabriel has focused on architecting and building systems to enhance the Mattermost Cloud service using technologies such as Kubernetes operators. Prior roles include Software Engineer IV at Ericsson, where contributions involved building Kubernetes clusters and enhancing CI/CD systems, and Senior Software Engineer at Apcera, focusing on Kubernetes management and configuration. Gabriel began a career in network and telecom engineering at Oakland University, successfully migrating the institution's telephone infrastructure to a Cisco VoIP system. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Oakland University.
