Jason Secore

Jason Secore has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Jason began their career with US Airways, where they held various roles in finance and operations research, including managing fuel hedging and supply. During this time, they were also a founding member of the energy strategy committee at Star Alliance.

Jason then moved on to Frontier Airlines, where they served as the Managing Director of Finance and Corporate Development. In this role, they played a crucial part in turning the airline's business around, leading cost reduction initiatives that resulted in profitability within 18 months.

Jason then joined Republic Airways as the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, overseeing FP&A, treasury, accounting, corporate development, fleet management, and insurance. Republic Airways was an airline holding company that owned multiple regional airlines.

Following their time at Republic Airways, Jason became the Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, and Head of Investor Relations at AAR, a publicly traded aerospace and defense services company. Jason worked directly for the President and CFO and led teams in finance, treasury, insurance, and investor relations. Jason also spearheaded successful cost reduction initiatives and supported the company's growth and new lines of business.

After AAR, Jason joined Arconic, a publicly traded Fortune 500 company, as the Vice President, Treasurer, and Head of Investor Relations. Jason played a key role in a corporate spinoff driven by activist investor Elliott Management, raising $2 billion to recapitalize the company.

Jason then became a Consulting CFO at Countsy, where they provided CFO services for various tech and life science startups. Jason worked on strategy, budgeting, fundraising, investor relations, and operational finance.

Most recently, Jason joined Matternet, a leading developer of commercial drone delivery systems, as the CFO. Matternet offers its platform as a service to healthcare, e-commerce, and logistics organizations globally. The company achieved Type Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration for its drone delivery system.

Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, investor relations, and cost reduction. Jason has worked for companies in the aviation, aerospace, and technology sectors and has a strong track record of driving improved financial and operational performance.

Jason Secore has an MBA in Finance from IE Business School. Jason also holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics with a focus on Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. Jason completed their undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, International Studies, and Business (BIP). Additionally, Jason has a Certificate in Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley.
