Gregor M.

Gregor M. is a seasoned research scientist with a robust background in computer vision and computer graphics. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Matterport since March 2024, Gregor previously held positions as Research Scientist and Technical Lead at IKEA, where responsibilities included managing research teams and projects. At Google, involvement in Project Starline focused on 3D telepresence systems, while earlier work at Lytro contributed to innovative 4D capture for VR experiences. Gregor directed research as Lead Scientist at the University of British Columbia, managing teams in the Human Communication Technologies Laboratory and teaching a senior-level Computer Graphics course.
