Matthews Creative is an independent creative studio and publishing imprint founded and run by Tony and Carmen Matthews.

The studio exists as a long-term creative spine for authored projects that sit outside conventional agency or platform-led models. Its work centres on publishing, editorial documentation, and the stewardship of independent creative worlds developed over time.

Matthews Creative is the imprint behind projects including SuperFly Autos™, Diecast Heroes, and other publishing-led initiatives spanning print, digital, and archival formats. These projects are united by a shared approach: curiosity-led exploration, close attention to people and process, and respect for the communities that form around creative work. There is always more that unites us than meets the eye.

Matthews Creative focuses on personal authorship, continuity, and care — providing structure for work that evolves organically and resists short-term optimisation. Much of the studio’s output is shaped through long-term observation, personal involvement, travel, and time spent on the ground, often across cultures and languages.

Matthews Creative exists to hold space for independent publishing and cultural documentation that values depth, patience, and human perspective over scale or speed.
