Matthew’s Hub is a Hull & East Riding Support Charity for Autistic people & those with ADHD. We set up in 2014 after Matthew died by suicide; working with his mother and a young autistic man to develop a service to meet the needs of autistic people without a learning disability. We quickly added ADHD support as we discovered high co-occurrence between autism and ADHD and the lack of support available. We now support autistic people and those with ADHD, aged 13 to old age with or seeking diagnosis
Matthew’s Hub ’s charitable objects are to:
•	Support autistic people and those with ADHD, without a learning disability to better understand their neurodiversity, the impact on their life and develop individualised coping mechanisms and strategies
•	Raise awareness of neurodiversity and how best to support neurodiverse people; through training, workshops and consultancy  
Many of our team are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia and have lived experience of neurodiversity. We have graduate and post graduate qualifications and worked experience, in subjects including nursing, mental health, social care, education, criminology, autism and ADHD. 
We provide person centred support to help autistic people and ADHDers maximise their potential, build confidence and self-esteem; through social activities, advice, support, guidance and peer mentoring. Partnering with a wide range of organisations, to ensure neurodivergent people access the most appropriate support
We offer online and face to face sessions, including arts and crafts, weekly quiz, walk & talk groups, 13-15 & 16-25 groups, creative writing and mindfulness sessions. 
We support young people, parents and families to understand autism and ADHD and its impact on lives.
We deliver awareness training, written and delivered by autistic and neurodivergent trainers; our training is designed to improve understanding of neurodiversity.
Referrals welcome from individuals, families or services.
