John Langdon has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. John currently serves as the Director of Finance and Chief Strategist at Mattiq, a materials design and development company focused on decarbonization. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor to AI and blockchain-related businesses, providing business strategy and capital raising services. John also served as a Partner in Africera Fund I, L.P., a private equity fund focused on agribusiness in Sub Saharan Africa. Additionally, they were a Founding Partner at AuSable Capital Corp. and served as a Managing Director at Platinum Equity. John has also held roles at Milestone Capital, Caxton-Iseman Capital, Kohlberg & Company, and Merrill Lynch, where they gained experience in private equity, leveraged buyouts, and financial analysis.
John Langdon completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Government at St. Lawrence University from 1988 to 1992. Later, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
