Claire Barber

Claire Barber has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Claire most recently worked as the CEO at MATTR starting from February 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Digital Officer at Spark New Zealand from 2016 to 2019 and also served as the GM Change & Technology from 2010 to 2016 within the same company. Claire also had a long tenure at IBM, where they worked as a Strategic Engagement Executive from 1999 to 2010. Their earlier experience includes serving as a Lecturer and Assistant Dean at The University of Auckland from 1996 to 1999.

Claire Barber attended Northumbria University from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a BA (Hons) and a Ph.D in Competitive Strategy.
