Max Lemaitre

CEO & Founder at Mattrix Technologies

Max Lemaitre has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Max is currently the CEO and Founder of Mattrix Technologies, a position they have held since May 2018. Prior to this, Max served as the Vice President of Research at nVerPix, LLC from January 2013 to January 2018. Max also co-founded and served as the CTO of Delta R Detection, Inc. from an unspecified start date until May 2013. In this role, Max developed three prototypes of an automated optical scanner for airport security and cargo screening. Max'swork contributed to the licensure of this technology to Stage Gate 11 in Amsterdam and the subsequent launch of the Delta R Shoe Scanner and Delta R Parcel Scanner. Earlier in their career, Max worked as a Business Management Intern at International Rectifier from May 2003 to January 2004, where they developed an inventory management tool and provided analytical support to the business management team. Max also gained experience as a Design/Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Woodhead Industries in 2002, where they managed special product requests and developed procedures for handling OEM accounts.

Max Lemaitre completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2005. Max then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, graduating in 2008. Max then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies in 2012. Max continued their education as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, specializing in Solid State Physics from 2013 to 2017.
