Pranay Vissa

Pranay Vissa has a diverse background in electrical and computer engineering, with significant experience in technical roles across multiple companies. At Innovium Inc. from July 2015 to November 2019, Pranay focused on developing and testing chip architectures and software, including designing tools for register management and developing test infrastructure for silicon validation. Prior to Innovium, Pranay interned at MoSys in mid-2011, where an asynchronous FIFO module was designed and tested. After Innovium, Pranay worked at Astera Labs until July 2021 and has been with MatX since February 2025 as a Member of Technical Staff. Current engagement includes developing next-generation Amazon devices starting in July 2021. Pranay holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. Pranay also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and contributed to research leading to publications in prominent conferences.
