Michael Kenney

Michael Kenney is a coalition builder with 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, connecting technology to business and policy priorities across the public and private sectors. They served as Unit Head at the NYC Office of Management & Budget from 2012 to 2017, and as Chief of Staff at NYC Cyber Command from 2017 to 2021. They also worked as a Coalition Organizer for state and federal political campaigns from 2006 to 2011 and most recently held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Consortium Networks until 2023. Currently, they are the Vice President of Public Sector at Arete and serve as Director at Maureen Data Systems (MDS) since 2025. Michael is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Duke University.
