Ryan Hunt

In collaboration with fellow Sports Illustrated co-editor-in-chief Stephen Cannella, Ryan Hunt manages the editorial staff of Sports Illustrated and The Street, leading a team of experienced reporters and editors while overseeing the digital strategy — from daily content planning and real-time breaking news to major-event coverage.

With more than two decades of digital experience at Sports Illustrated — originally starting at CNNSI.com in Atlanta in 1998 — Ryan has extensive experience in developing unique and engaging content for multiple platforms. Under his leadership, SI has launched multiple digital franchises, including the 'Daily Cover,' SI.com's signature premium piece.

Ryan graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism, and lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter.​
