Alex Sciuto

Alex Sciuto has had a varied work experience, starting with a role as a Digital Designer at Finn Partners in 2011. Alex then worked as a Designer at the Shanghai Repertory Theater in 2009. From 2010-2011, they held internships at Talking Points Memo as a Research Intern and at St. Louis Beacon as a Web and Media Intern. In 2011, they were a Program Assistant at Carleton College. From 2013-2015, they were a Masters Student in Interaction Design and a PHD Student in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. During this time, they also held a Data Visualization Summer Researcher role at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) in 2015 and a User Experience Design Intern role at Google in 2014. Since 2017, Alex has been at Maven Machines, where they have held the roles of Senior Product Manager, Head of Product and Design, and Lead Designer.

Alex Sciuto completed a Master's of Design in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, with a field of study in Interaction Design. Prior to that, they obtained a Political Science/IR degree from Carleton College in 2009.
