At Maverick & Farmer, our mission is to transform the Indian coffee experience by showcasing coffee as a stimulant and creative catalyst in unprecedented ways. Our unique 'maverick' approach drives our innovation in fermentation, processing, drying, bagging, and roasting, leading to iconic coffees for both retail consumers and café patrons.

Our bean-to-cup journey begins at our 125+ year-old estate in Pollibetta, Coorg. Managed by Co-Founder and third-generation farmer, Tej Thammaiah, the 140-acre estate is meticulously overseen to ensure top-tier bean quality. Our coffee pickers, many of whom have been with the family for decades, ensure only the perfectly ripe cherries make it into our coffees.

Maverick & Farmer is known for experimental coffee offerings. Our team embraces our maverick ethos, driving innovative processes such as cold-smoking, lactic acid bacteria fermentation, oak-wood fermentation, milk soothing, beer barrel aging, honey sun-drying, yeast-enzyme processing, and natural fruit juice fermentation.

One standout innovation is the world's first cold-smoked coffee - Ol' Smokey. This coffee is crafted by smoking half-pulped Arabica beans with wood from fallen, locally grown trees, resulting in a unique and unforgettable flavor profile.

Join us on our journey as we push the boundaries of coffee innovation and offer extraordinary coffee experiences.
