Mark Lapenna

Mark LaPenna is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and aerospace sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at OnMyWay™ Commerce since October 2024. Previously, LaPenna contributed as a Guest Lecturer at the United States Air Force Academy from August 2019 to October 2024, focusing on Electrooptical Communications and Combat Cloud architectures. As the Chief Executive Officer and President of Xenesis from October 2014 to October 2024, LaPenna led an optical satellite operator catering to global industry demands for enhanced communication capabilities. Previous roles include Board Advisor positions at NEOJETS and LastSeat, and a brief consultancy as Global Director of Sales at ATLAS Space Operations, Inc. LaPenna also shared insights as a keynote speaker at TEDxNaperville and contributed as a freelance columnist for Glancer Magazine.
