Ala Hamdan

Ala Hamdan has a diverse work experience in various roles related to filmmaking and photography. In 2017, they co-founded At Films and worked as a Filmmaker & Visual Storyteller. Ala also served as a Brand Ambassador & Independent Filmmaker for Royal Jordanian. Prior to this, they worked as a Filmmaker and Creative Director for Mawdoo3.com. Additionally, they have experience as a Photography Instructor for Instructit and a CRLA Instructor for Global Online Academy. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Filmmaking & Photography Instructor at King's Academy, where they focused on showcasing the stories of the school on Youtube. Ala also worked as a Story Editor & Photographer for Al Jazeera Media Network in 2015. Prior to their career in filmmaking, Ala worked as an Activities Director for CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange from 2009 to 2013.

Ala Hamdan attended the New York Film Academy from 2014 onwards, where they obtained a diploma in Filmmaking. Prior to that, in 2012, they briefly studied at the Universidad de Granada, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and English Literature and Language. Ala also holds a certification as a Filmmaker from NYFA, obtained at an unspecified time.
