John Howell

John Howell is a seasoned military professional currently serving as a TACP Instructor at MAWTS-1 since June 2023 and holding the rank of Major in the United States Marine Corps since May 2013. With extensive experience in various roles, John has served as a Pilot Training Officer and Weapons and Tactics Instructor for VMM-262 REIN, designing individualized training plans for pilots and crew members. Previous positions include Assistant Operations Officer and Future Operations Officer at HMH-465, Air Officer and Forward Air Controller at 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and Quality Assurance Officer at HMH-465.
