Oak Cooper

Oak Cooper has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and development. They started their career at Flux Media as a Co-founder and Vice President, where they were responsible for various aspects of the business operations, including accounting, sales automation, and customer support systems. They then transitioned to Centrafuse, Inc., where they continued their role as Operations Manager and Systems Architect, overseeing product fulfillment, billing systems, IT systems, software quality assurance, and PR/communications.

Oak Cooper's next role was as a Sr. Software Engineer Consultant at HotDocs Corporation, where they designed custom workflow solutions using Microsoft technologies. They then joined Kabbage, Inc as a Sr. Systems Engineer, working in an Agile environment and implementing software systems using the latest Microsoft stack.

At Morneau Shepell, Oak Cooper served as a Sr. Software Development Engineer, building engaging web experiences and implementing Continuous Integration. They then joined Preparis, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer, leading the architecture and creation of company apps and redesigning the flagship website.

Oak Cooper's next position was at DICK'S Sporting Goods, where they worked as a Lead Developer, focusing on front-end best practices using Angular and Vue. They built shared Angular components and employed a compositional UI approach. At Rockwater Technology, LLC, Oak Cooper worked as a Sr. Angular Architect on a short-term contract, upgrading a SaaS product and building new features using Angular Material and NgRx.

Their most recent experience is at Hudson MX, where Oak Cooper served as a Sr. Frontend Developer, focusing on frontend development and working with Angular.

Currently, Oak Cooper is working as a Software Engineer IV at MAX Digital.

Oak Cooper attended the University of Mississippi's School of Business Administration from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Management Information Systems.
