Jon Caines

Jon Caines works collaboratively with leadership, administrators, staff, and faculty at higher education institutions across the country to identify problems and provide strategic technological solutions. In his role, he manages all aspects related to business development, sales and marketing of their specialized software products. As Chief Creator of Opportunity, Jon is responsible for growing the company’s enterprise and developing lasting strategic partnerships. A proven “mover and shaker,” Jon provides top-notch customer service while helping to advance the technology of his clients. With over 6 years of experience under his belt, Jon effectively communicates even the most technical software jargon at an understandable and relatable level. Jon knows what it’s like to be immersed in higher education, earning a B.A. in International Studies with a minor in philosophy and economics at Fairfield University. Working directly with stakeholders on college campuses, Jon gets up close and personal with the processes surrounding enrollment, advising, retention and degree completion which are all critical components for Stopped-Out students.
