Those are the wise words of Lemony Snicket and you'll find them emblazoned on our wall when you walk in. 

We love books, their emotion, imagination and way of making you think. That's why, when our local bookshop closed, we decided to open in its place. 

We want to help you discover new authors and ideas, and find books you'll treasure forever. We're enjoying every minute and appreciate how lucky we are to be in this community. So keep coming in; we learn as much from you as you do from us, of that we're certain!
