Stephen Innes

Stephen Innes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, advocacy, and community services. Currently serving as the Business Manager for MAX in the Hunter Valley, Stephen oversees Adult Migrant Education Programs and Skills for Education and Employment. Previous roles include Co-Founder of the Hunter Diversity & Inclusion Collective, Curator of Innovation and Partnerships at Kurri Kurri Community Services, and Account Manager at Castle Personnel, where a focus on diversity and inclusion was paramount. With a background that includes significant experience as a Criminal Investigator with the NSW Police Force, Stephen has developed strong networks across various sectors, including indigenous communities. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Policing Practice from Charles Sturt University, an Advanced Diploma in Project Management, and a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Australian Institute of Business, enhancing a broad skill set in project management and public safety.
