Aaron Simmons

Aaron Simmons is a Principal Software Engineer at Maxar Technologies since January 2020, specializing in dynamic spacecraft simulation and R&D initiatives involving cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML and Kubernetes. Prior to Maxar, Aaron served as an Application Software Engineer at Sensory, Inc., and as Director of Speech SDK at Rosetta Stone, where leadership focused on expanding multilingual capabilities. Aaron's early career includes roles at Texas Instruments and NOAA, alongside volunteering with the Peace Corps. Aaron holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Louisiana State University.
