Alan Register

Alan Register is a highly experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Senior Staff Aerospace Engineer at Maxar Technologies since July 2023. Prior to this, Alan worked at CFD Research Corporation from March 2021 to June 2023 as a Research Engineer, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for aerospace and defense applications, including intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. Alan's background includes a role as a Biomedical Software Engineer at Canvas, Inc., where responsibilities involved integrating camera vision systems and implementing image processing algorithms. Earlier experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University included the design and development of a dual detector positron emission tomography array. Additionally, Alan's work at East Carolina University involved developing unmanned aerial vehicles for autonomous operations. Alan holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from East Carolina University.
