Caitlyn Deaton

Caitlyn Deaton is an experienced professional in geospatial sciences and operations, currently serving as the Supervisor of 3D Operations at Maxar Technologies since May 2018, where Caitlyn leads a team of Technicians and Analysts in the Building the Globe project. Previously, Caitlyn held the position of Senior Image Analyst, contributing to the 3D Production team. Prior experience includes working as a GIS Technician at Arctic Slope Technical Services, Inc., managing various GIS projects for the Census Bureau, and assisting in academic settings as a Graduate Student Assistant at Towson University. Caitlyn's early career included internships at American Electric Power and involvement in water quality testing at Ferrum College. Caitlyn holds a Master's Degree in Geospatial Sciences from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning and Development from Ferrum College.
