Dave Marks

Dave (JD) Marks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in flight software engineering and systems architecture. Currently serving as the PPE FSW Mission Processor RE at Maxar Technologies since March 2021, Marks is a Class A FSW development process architect and CMMI FSW certification lead, significantly contributing to the 5545 Mission Process for the PPE mission. Prior roles include Principal FSW Engineer at Blue Canyon Technologies, where innovative solutions for Cube and Micro Sat missions were developed, and various positions at Singletrack System Solutions, including Software Product Development Engineer, contributing to multiple contracts and projects. Additional experience encompasses embedded software engineering at Red Canyon Engineering & Software and advanced flight software engineering at Advanced Space. Marks holds a BSBA in Business from the University of Phoenix and a degree from the Colorado School of Mines.
