George White is an experienced aerospace engineer with a strong background in flight software and spacecraft operations. Currently serving as a Flight Software Technical Partner at Maxar Technologies since February 2018, George oversees flight software for various programs. Prior to this role, George worked at SSL from May 1996 to January 2018, where responsibilities included flight software development for RSGS spacecraft and providing 24/7 emergency support as Contingency Director for a fleet of over 80 on-orbit spacecraft. With a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, George has a solid educational foundation to support a successful career in aerospace engineering.
