Jacek Grodecki

Jacek Grodecki is a seasoned professional in the fields of geospatial data and remote sensing, currently serving as Senior Director of 2D Data Engineering at Maxar Technologies since April 2019, where responsibilities include leading the development of imagery and data products. Previously held the role of Senior Director for Product R&D at Maxar, focusing on innovative product development using machine learning and image processing technologies. Jacek’s extensive experience includes serving as Senior Director of Research and Development at both DigitalGlobe and GeoEye, where significant advancements in machine learning and satellite imagery technologies were achieved. Jacek's academic contributions as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Colorado Denver concluded in December 2022. Jacek holds a Ph.D. in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, along with a Graduate Certificate in International Economics and a Master's in Geodesy and Cartography from AGH University of Krakow.
