James Snyder currently serves as the Maritime Government Assessment Lead at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering since October 2023. Additionally, James has been a Associate Research Analyst at Maxar Technologies since August 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Intelligence Officer at HHC, TF AVN, KFOR from January 2022 to June 2023, and as an Assistant S2 for the Virginia Army National Guard from May 2020 to December 2021. James also completed a Research Analyst Internship at Radiant Solutions in June 2019 and an internship with Senator Tim Scott from August 2018 to May 2019. James holds three Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science (International and Military Affairs), French Language, and Intelligence and Homeland Security from The Citadel, where studies were completed from 2015 to 2019.
