Michael McConnell

Michael McConnell is a seasoned quality engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at Maxar Technologies since July 2021, Michael has previously held significant roles such as Product Assurance Program Manager for Asian and European programs at Space Systems Loral and Quality Assurance Manager for Launch Operations at Space Exploration Technologies. With a background that includes leadership as Chairman of the Failure Review Board at both Ball Aerospace and Space Systems Loral, as well as a Program Quality Engineer role, Michael has demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and program management. Michael's career began in the United States Navy, where service as a Surface Warfare Officer laid the foundation for subsequent achievements. Michael holds a degree from the United States Naval Academy, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
