Mike Bruno

Mike Bruno has extensive experience in program and engineering management within the aerospace sector, currently serving as Program Manager for the Geostationary Com-Sat Program at Maxar Technologies since July 2019. Responsibilities include overseeing financial, schedule, and technical aspects of significant satellite contracts, collaborating with customers and internal organizations to ensure program success, and implementing risk management strategies. Prior roles at Maxar Technologies included managing business development and small satellite programs, with responsibilities spanning design, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. Previously, Mike Bruno held multiple engineering and managerial positions at SSL, where key contributions included leading systems engineering teams, implementing process improvements, and overseeing satellite production. Mike Bruno holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from San José State University.
