Miranda Butler is an accomplished Robotics Engineer with extensive experience in software development and design for a variety of robotic platforms. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Robotics Software Engineer at Maxar Technologies since July 2018, Miranda has notably developed an in-house gravity-offloading system for ground-level robotic arm testing. Prior to this role, Miranda worked at Medtronic as an Associate Embedded Software Engineer, contributing to the development of an electrosurgical generator for medical devices. Earlier experience includes a contractor position at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where involvement in projects encompassed quasi-optical scanning systems and automated power leveling systems. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2016.
