Nate Thompson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Fellow Systems Architect and Principal Cloud Architect at Maxar Technologies (formerly DigitalGlobe) since December 2006, Nate Thompson plays a key role in leading the AWS Cloud transformation and fostering a Cloud-First culture by designing and implementing advanced cloud-native solutions. Previous roles include Experienced Linux Architect at BEA Systems, Inc. and Network and Systems Engineer Sr. at Celestica Inc., along with earlier experience as a Sr. Unix Systems Administrator at Agilent Technologies and as a Software Support Engineer. Nate Thompson holds a degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University, where studies were undertaken from 1993 to 1995.
