Perry Peterson

Perry Peterson is a seasoned engineering professional with over two decades of experience at Maxar Technologies, serving as Sr. Manager for RF Active/Passive Mechanical Engineering Design and RF Subcontracts since January 2000. In this role, Perry leads a team of up to 11 engineers and designers across multiple product lines, including RF Active and RF Passive components, while managing RF subcontracts. Previously, Perry served as Principal Mechanical Engineer, overseeing multiple projects and mentoring junior engineers. Earlier in the career, Perry held the position of Section Manager for Mechanical Engineering in the RF Active domain, leading a larger team and handling technical reporting to senior management. Prior to Maxar, Perry worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Asyst, contributing to the development of the innovative 300mm Front Opening Unified Pod (FOUP). Perry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
