Peter Wright

Peter Wright is an accomplished electric propulsion engineer with a diverse background in aerospace engineering and propulsion research. Currently serving at Maxar Technologies since September 2022, Peter previously contributed as a graduate student at UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, and as a researcher in the UCLA Plasma & Space Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on electrospray propulsion and porous fluid mechanics. Prior experience includes a role as a research engineer at Busek, where Peter designed and tested electrospray emitters and improved atomizer designs, and as a mechanical engineer for the Boston University Student Satellite for Applications and Training, implementing thermal analyses and structural designs. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
